Leaving Beograd we stayed a night in Novi Sad another city that Danube flows.
The end of August found us in Sombor a city close to Hungarian borders.
In Sombor we hosted by a lovely family and the next day we were in Hungary.

In Hercegszántó of Hungary closed to the borders with Serbia we had a free camping. Unlikely we didn’t manage to exchange money, buy something to eat and have a shower, but we’ve met Kristof a cyclist from Germany and we had great company.
Next day the three of us took the boat and passed to the other side of Danube, in Mohács. There our roads separated. We continued to Pécs.
In Pécs it was raining heavily and it was difficult to find a hotel or something not to expensive to stay. Eventually we stayed there two days and due to the rainwe didn’t saw well the city.
On the road to Budapest…
After a free camping in Fajsz...we were in the historical Budapest and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. So many monuments to see but only three days.
Leaving Budapest approaching Slovakia we had a camping in Eszdergom. A pleasant surprise a local festival with a lot of food and music.
Next day found us cycling in the rain. Finally arrived in Györ.
Keep following Danube we crossed Slovakias borders almost without realizing it and finally we were in Bratislava. A beautiful capital we had three great days there. Also we discovered a restaurant in reasonable prices and nice food. Although the rainy weather didn’t allowed us to hang around more, we enjoyed this city.
So close to Vienna...cycling among fishermen cabins in Danube.
After a month on the road we achieved our goal to be in Vienna. It wasn’t a surprise for us the expensive accommodation. Vienna is too attractive, but this that we definitely didn’t expect, it was that from the six days we had been there only the two were sunny.
In Vienna we visited some interesting places and we impressed by MAK museum (Austrian Museum of Applied Arts).
